With great joy the Santa Maria di Gesù Crocifisso Region experienced, on Friday June 26, 2026, in the Parish of Olton (England), the Perpetual Profession of BrotherJohn Baptist Nguyen Van Thang scj (of the Vicariate of Thailand and Vietnam).
During the celebration, votes were received from Fr. Wilfred Pereppadan scj, Regional Superior of the Region “Holy Mary of Jesus Crucified” and delegate of the Superior General, in the presence of the confreres of the Vicariate of England and of the faithful who shared this moment of grace and celebration.
With the Perpetual Profession, Brother Thang responds with a «Here I am" definitively to the Lord's call, dedicating his entire life to the service of God and the Church according to the charism of Saint Michael Garicoits. This is an important step, demonstrating God's faithfulness and the generous response of those who choose to live the Gospel in the fraternity, availability, and mission proper to our religious family.
We thank the Lord for the gift of Brother Thang's vocation and accompany him with our prayers, so that the Sacred Heart of Jesus may continue to sustain him on his journey and that his ministry may be a witness of hope and love for all those he will meet.
