Jesus is asking me to become a littleChild!! And behold Him! From being the greatest He has become the smallest. From being the seat of wisdom He is now speechless. From being most powerful He is now powerless, and from being active He is now motionless. There He is, suspending the outward exercise of his faculties, so as to become a tiny baby, hidden, powerless, easy to handle like any tiny tot. What more eloquent example than his divine chats! What strength, what powers of persuasion are present in his extended childhood!! How can I not become a little child? To achieve that have I more to do than my God? A sublime intelligence, a perfect will, and a purer body ready to be sacrificed! Oh Blessed Virgin, through your greatness and your joys at the Crib, show me Jesus! You will show Him to the Shepherds and theMagi. You are His presenter, His way, the gate to Paradise, the word of the Divine Word, the channel of this infinite Treasure, the mother of all the faithful and of the Apostles, the formator of hidden souls and of martyrs. My Divine Queen, from whom I have received everything, for I have nothing but what has come to me through you; make me grateful, humble, loving, discreet and faithful. Amen. |
